Lance Casey — Licensed Private Investigator

Who I Am

I’m Lance Casey — known on this site and on camera as Lance The PI. I’m a licensed California Private Investigator, CA PI License #27617, active and verified with the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. I’ve spent 25 years working as a private investigator, and before that, 10 years in law enforcement, including time with the Sacramento Police Department.

Over that career I’ve built case files for attorneys, appeared in depositions, run surveillance, conducted background investigations, and worked hundreds of cases across every kind of dispute — civil, criminal, and everything in between. I run Lance Casey & Associates, a licensed PI practice, and I produce investigative content under a few different brands, including local Sacramento crime coverage and this site.

Why I Built This Site

I started noticing the same pattern over and over: people reaching out convinced they were being targeted by coordinated harassment, with no idea what to do about it. They’d already been to the police, who told them there was nothing to act on without evidence. They’d already been to forums, which gave them theories but nothing that held up outside that forum. Some had already tried an attorney, who wanted a retainer before they’d even look at the situation.

What almost none of them had was a methodology — a professional way to take what was happening to them and turn it into something documented, organized, and usable. That’s the gap this site exists to close. Not validation of any particular theory about who’s responsible or why, and not encouragement of speculation — a licensed investigator’s approach to documentation, evidence collection, and understanding your legal options.

What This Site Is — and Isn’t

This site is: a resource for people experiencing coordinated harassment who want to document it the way a professional investigator would — incident logging, surveillance pattern tracking, digital evidence preservation, and a clear understanding of the state and federal law that applies to their situation.

This site is not: a source of legal advice, a mental health resource, or a place to get confirmation of any specific theory about who is behind coordinated harassment or how. If you’re in a mental health crisis, please contact 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or another qualified professional first. If you need legal representation, the methodology here can help you arrive at an attorney’s office with documentation instead of just a story — but it isn’t a replacement for one.
