Prepare Your Documentation

Before your session, gather your incident log, vehicle surveillance tally, and a summary of your digital evidence. The more organized your documentation is before the call, the more your session can focus on assessment and strategy rather than getting up to speed.

Prepare for Your Session

Have This Ready
Before the Call.

The more prepared you are the more your session time can be spent on professional assessment and strategy. Here is exactly what to have organized before Lance reviews your case.

Your Incident Log

Your chronological incident log with every entry containing exact date, time, location, and a plain objective description of what occurred. Organize it chronologically from the earliest incident to the most recent. The more specific and detailed each entry the stronger your case assessment will be.

Vehicle Surveillance Tally

Your vehicle surveillance log with the cross-reference tally showing repeat vehicle descriptions across multiple locations and dates. If you have not built this yet — go to Chapter 4 of your Field Manual and use Appendix B before your session.

Digital Evidence Summary

A brief inventory of your digital evidence — photographs, screenshots, audio recordings, video — with reference numbers that correspond to your incident log entries. You do not need to send the files before the session — just have a summary of what you have and when each piece was captured.

Brief Case Summary

A two to three paragraph summary of when you first noticed the harassment, what has changed since then, and what you believe the source or motivation is. Write this in plain language — not emotional, not interpretive. Just the facts as you understand them. This gives Lance context before reviewing your documentation.

Not sure if your documentation is complete enough? That is exactly what the consultation is designed to assess. Bring what you have. Lance will tell you what is strong, what needs strengthening, and what your next steps should be based on what your documentation actually shows.
